La Luna Movie Synopsis, When an Underwear Shop Shocks a Conservative Village

La Luna tells the story of Hanie Abdullah, a fashion talent who decides to open a sexy lingerie shop called La Luna in Kampong Bras Basah. Hanie's presence is strongly opposed by the elders of the village, even though the shop is bought by many residents.

The presence of Cik Hanie's La Luna shop (Sharifah Amani) in Bras Basah Village causes conflict and division among the residents.

Some residents who were previously closed and uncomfortable with the underwear models sold at La Luna's shop began to change their views. Women actually welcomed the shop, making it crowded. Meanwhile, husbands also supported when their wives flocked to buy lingerie.

Tok Hasan began to feel uncomfortable with the presence of La Luna and the changing views of the residents of Bras Basah Village. He did various ways for the shop to close soon. One of them is by giving a lecture at the surau and issuing a number of religious reasons. The conflict between Tok Hasan and Cik Hanie actually reveals an unexpected fact.
