Hong Kong is the safest city in Asia and a world-renowned international financial center. Hong Kong's four core values are: finance, real estate, education, and judicial. These four values symbolize the ultimate glory of an international metropolis.

However, there is a terrorist organization called "Free" that seeks to destabilize Hong Kong's four core values by carrying out a series of terrorist acts that threaten the lives of the city's 7 million residents. 

Movie Protagonist


Mo Yun (Francis NG) is the Deputy Director of the Hong Kong Police Department, and in just three years, he managed to solve 10 major Hong Kong cases and became a highly skilled detective.

He is determined to uncover and eradicate the "Free" terrorist organization that poses the biggest threat to Hong Kong. Zhou Zhi (Simon Yam) is the director of the Zhou Group, one of Hong Kong's largest stock markets. He is an ambitious and cunning man, who does not hesitate to use dirty means to enrich himself and expand his power. He also has a secret relationship with the terrorist organization "Free". Cheng Yu (Yuanyuan Cheng) is a brave and intelligent investigative journalist. She is the ex-girlfriend of Mo Yun, whom she has worked with on several cases. She has suspicions of Zhou Zhi and seeks to uncover his scandals.

Tong Da Wei (Michael Tong) is a genius hacker who works for the terrorist organization "Free". He is the brain behind a series of terrorist acts committed by the organization. He also has a personal grudge against Mo Yun, who once arrested him in a case. Liu Xiao Yi (Liu Ying Yi) is a mysterious woman who is a member of the terrorist organization "Free". She is an expert in weapons and martial arts, who often acts as the organization's executioner. She also has a special relationship with Tong Da Wei. 

Movie Storyline


The movie Break War (2024) begins with a scene of Zhou Zhi being arrested by the police for alleged fraud and corruption. This caused the Zhou Group's stock market to collapse and Hong Kong's economy to plummet by more than 20%. Mo Yun who led Zhou Zhi's arrest was satisfied with the outcome, but he didn't realize that this was part of the "Free" terrorist organization's plan to undermine Hong Kong's financial value. Not long after, the "Free" terrorist organization committed another act of terror, which was to kidnap and kill 10 famous real estate bosses in Hong Kong overnight.

This caused Hong Kong's housing prices to drop by half and Hong Kong's real estate value to collapse. Mo Yun who gets the task to handle the case starts investigating the traces of the terrorist organization "Free" and discovers that they have a connection with Zhou Zhi. Meanwhile, Cheng Yu who works as an investigative journalist also takes an interest in the case of Zhou Zhi and the terrorist organization "Free".

He tries to contact Mo Yun, his ex-girlfriend, to ask for her help in uncovering Zhou Zhi's scandal. However, Mo Yun refuses to cooperate with Cheng Yu, as she still feels hurt by their breakup. The terrorist organization "Free" did not stop there. They also committed the most horrific act of terror, which was to blow up Hong Kong's most prestigious century-old school, which was a symbol of Hong Kong's educational values.

The blast killed hundreds of students and teachers, and caused schools across the city to close. Once known as the safest city in Asia, Hong Kong is now a city of fear and chaos. Mo Yun, who is increasingly infuriated by the terrorist organization "Free", finally manages to find their headquarters in a high-rise building. He leads a police team to storm the building and comes face to face with Tong Da Wei, the hacker genius who is the brain behind a series of terrorist acts.

Mo Yun and Tong Da Wei exchange gunfire, while Liu Xiao Yi, the mysterious woman who became the executioner of the "Free" terrorist organization, tries to protect Tong Da Wei. At the same time, Cheng Yu, who managed to obtain evidence of Zhou Zhi's scandal, also comes to the building to meet Mo Yun. He hopes to help Mo Yun in exposing and eradicating the terrorist organization "Free". However, he did not expect that he would be involved in a fierce battle between the police and the terrorists.
