Synopsis:
The Djinn's Curse, directed by Kriangkrai Monvichit, is based on a local legend from Southern Thailand, known as the "Legend of Toa Nanna," which means that humans can have power in their world, but humans cannot interfere in controlling the supernatural realm, including that inhabited by jinns.
The story begins with Win's family accidentally discovering their connection to a dark secret from another dimension. This of course puts the Win family in a dangerous situation. In an effort to avoid the trouble, they decide to move to a remote area in Narathiwat, Southern Thailand.
Unfortunately, when they hoped to find protection, it actually led them into a creepy terror from a more dangerous supernatural entity. As time went on, disturbance after disturbance from evil genies continued to appear in the Win family's new residence. In fact, the evil genies want their bodies to be taken to their realm.
