One of them is the movie The Tearsmith, adapted from the novel of the same name by Erin Doom. The Tearsmith movie trailer was released on Thursday (3/14/2024). The 1-minute 45-second trailer managed to steal the attention, because it features a cut scene with vibes that are considered similar to the Twilight film series.

The Tearsmith tells the story of Nica and Rigel who both grew up in an orphanage. Nica is a girl who is obedient, kind, and full of hope that one day she will be able to have a family. Rigel, on the other hand, is a smart, piano-playing boy with a wizard-like good looks that can charm anyone. But behind his angelic handsome face, Rigel keeps a cruel and dark nature full of mystery that makes Nica instinctively want to stay away from him.

The orphanage where Nica and Rigel live is run by a cruel mother. The cruelty of the orphanage caretaker left Nica and Rigel with wounds and traumas that damaged their souls. Nica has a way to overcome her fear and hurt by living in her imagination. There is a popular fairy tale that Nica loves that is about the Tearsmith. A tearmaker who knits tears into crystals filled with burning passion.
