Intending to heal their wounds and start a new life, Dewi & Sena are not trapped and caught up in the irregularities of their family's hereditary legacy. Through Inayah Syarafina's movie, the audience is invited to follow Dewi & Sena's struggle to escape from everything that is out of the ordinary.

Among many movies with the same theme, there are several things that make this movie worth waiting for. Telling creepy stories and stories about family is certainly not a new thing in Indonesian cinema.
We are certainly familiar with the figure of Mother in Pengabdi Setan. Which in general is also a family-themed horror movie.

However, 'Temurun' is more specific to the theme of disaster set in a family. Seasoned with a story about inheritance that gives a mysterious impression. The official trailer of this film itself was released on May 1 yesterday on the Sinemaku Pictures youtube channel. In the 1 minute 51 second trailer, it describes the horrors that await throughout the movie later.

Setting places such as at home and in a meat factory provide a variety of scenes that are not in just one place. Common fears experienced by many people are also shown. Like the tap water in the bathroom that opens itself, a mysterious figure in the middle of the house in the dark. And employees who hang themselves in the factory are shown in the trailer.

The movie produced by Umay Shahab and Prilly Latuconsina is also very brave in terms of shooting. The appearance of people hanging themselves on trees and sadistic scenes full of blood are clearly shown in the trailer.  These scenes are not only sadistic, but also wrapped through the shooting of each scene that feels right. The movie is horrifying yet cinematic at the same time.

One thing that stands out in Temurun is the dominant use of purple throughout the trailer. And also a poster with the same colored font. This certainly gives a new color and becomes a differentiator from horror films that are attached to the color red. The choice of purple as the main color of the film gives the impression of a dark mystery and also a strong mystical element. Temurun will be aired on May 30, 2024.
