Inside Out 2 Movie Synopsis: Exploring Riley's New Puberty Emotions

Inside Out first appeared in 2015, directed by Pete Docter and produced by Jonas Rivera. The screenplay was written by Pete Docter, Meg LeFauve, and Josh Cooley, and the story was written by Pete Docter and Ronnie del Carmen.

After the success of the first film Inside Out 2 returned in 2024, with a story that is not much different, namely about the emotional instability of Riley entering puberty. In this film, new emotions appear that control Riley's thoughts. These emotions are Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Ennui, each of which is described with its character that seems to live in a mind. These emotions arise because Riley will be left behind by her two best friends who will change schools so Riley becomes sad.

Many things arise. After all, Riley often makes selfish decisions that sometimes make him sometimes become upset because each of these emotional characters also tries to take over Riley's mind.

AThis 96-minute film can be seen in all theaters in Indonesia. The voice actors in Inside Out 2 are Kensington Tallman as Riley, Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis, Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, Liza Lapira as Disgust, and Maya Hawke as Anxiety.
