Synopsis of ODDITY


Oddity tells the story of Darcy (Carolyn Backen), a blind psychic and owner of a shop selling various artifacts and knick-knacks. In this film, Darcy is grieving the death of her twin sister, Dani, who died unnaturally. Then Darcy realizes that there is something more to Dani's death a year earlier.

To find the answers she is looking for, she uses occult methods with a creepy wooden mannequin to find out the truth behind it all. This leads her to the home of Ted (Gwilym Lee), Dani's husband, and Ted's new girlfriend, Yana (Caroline Menton).

The wooden mannequin spreads terror in Ted's house. Will Darcy be able to avenge Dani's death?

Bracken plays the dual role of sisters beautifully. Dani and Darcy are two very different women, with different energies looks, and body shapes. The audience will never see them together, but Bracken's acting successfully displays the very strong chemistry between Dani and Darcy.
