Meanwhile, A Working Man is adapted from the first novel titled Levon's Trade: A Vigilante Justice Thriller which was published in 2014. In addition to Jason Statham, this film also presents a lineup of other famous Hollywood players ranging from David Harbour, Michael Peña, Jason Flemyng, Arianna Rivas, Noemi Gonzalez, Emmett J. Scanlan, Eve Mauro, Maximilian Osinski, Kristina Poli, Andrej Kaminsky, and Isla Gie.

The story begins to develop when his boss's daughter, who is considered like family, is kidnapped and he is forced to return to his old job to fight a human trafficking syndicate. His efforts to save the girl lead him into a vast conspiracy filled with corruption, much darker than he ever imagined.

Previously, Sylvester Stallone's Balboa Productions originally acquired the rights to Levon Trade's novel adaptation with plans to turn it into a television series. But in 2023, the project was turned into a feature film with David Ayer as director and Jason Statham as the lead. Finally, the title Levon's Trade was officially changed to A Working Man in December 2024.

A Working Man is scheduled to hit American theaters on March 28, 2025, which is likely to hit Indonesian theaters earlier in Eid 2025.
