The story in Waktu Maghrib 2 is set 20 years after the scary incident in Jatijajar. This time, the terror moves to the village of Giritirto, where the mystical figure of Jin Ummu Sibyan rises again. And terrorizes children who violate the norms of Maghrib time.

The story begins when a group of children—Yogo, Dewo, and Wulan along with five of their friends are involved in a dispute in a soccer match. Their annoyance peaks to the point of cursing the main team, unknowingly triggering the presence of an evil force that has long been buried.

That night, on their way home through the forest during Maghrib time, one by one they begin to be terrorized by a supernatural force that is thirsty for life. Directed by Sidharta Tata, this film is produced by Rapi Films in collaboration with Sky Media, Rhaya Flicks, Legacy Pictures, and Kebon Studio.

The script was written by Khalid Kashogi, Bayu Kurnia, and Sidharta Tata. Several young actors such as Omar Daniel, Anantya Kirana, Sulthan Hamonangan, Ghazi Alhabsyi, and Muzakki Ramdhan also star in this film. Supported by Sadana Agung, Nopek Novian, Bagas Pratama Saputra, and Fita Anggriani.
