Kim So-hyun who plays Ji Han-na, a former gold medalist shooter known as the "Shooting Goddess." However, after facing an incident that shakes his career, he decides to become a police officer, following in the footsteps of his father who is a police officer.

There is also Lee Sang-yi who plays Kim Jong-hyun, a former silver medal fencer who becomes a detective after being injured. Heo Sung-tae plays Go Man-sik, a former bronze medal wrestler who now leads the Special Violent Crimes Unit team. And Tae Won-seok who plays Shin Jae-hong, a former bronze medal discus thrower who becomes a police officer for financial reasons.

There is also Oh Jung-se who plays Min Joo-young, a customs official who seems friendly and honest during the day but hides his ambition and dark side at night. His character adds complexity to this drama.

"Good Boy" not only presents action and comedy, but also conveys a message about struggle, passion, and transformation.
