Synopsis of Korean Drama Our Movie: A Touching Romantic Story Starring Namkoong Min and Jeon Yeo-Bin

Get ready for a flood of tears! The latest Korean drama, Our Movie, will be on SBS starting June 13, 2025, replacing The Haunted Palace's broadcast slot every Friday and Saturday at 22:00 KST.  Our Movie, which has the original title Wooriyounghwa, is a romantic melodrama by director Lee Jung Heum and writers Han Ka Eun and Kang Kyeong Min. The Our Movie series will air for 12 episodes with a touching story about love, time, and destiny.

Synopsis of Our Movie

Lee Je Ha (played by Namkoong Min) is a talented young director who grew up in the shadow of his father, a film master. His debut film received worldwide acclaim and dubbed him a new genius in the world of cinema. However, the fear of the "second-year curse" made him stagnant. For five years, he did not produce any work. Now, he is back in the director's chair for his second film project, a touching love story about someone who lives with limited time.

While conducting research, he meets Lee Da Eum (played by Jeon Yeo Bin), an aspiring actress who is cheerful despite suffering from a rare, incurable disease.

Da Eum doesn't know how much longer she can survive, but her warmth and intelligence make her a familiar face to everyone in the hospital. When reading a movie script written by Je Ha, Da Eum gives him valuable advice and slowly gets involved in the production of the film. Their meeting rekindles Je Ha's passion as a director and opens a new chapter in Da Eum's life. The two of them, who both harbor their wounds and fears, begin to build love amidst the limitations of time.

Our Movie also marks the first collaboration between these two top actors as the main couple. With an emotional story and guaranteed stunning acting, Our Movie is predicted to be the most tear-jerking drama in mid-2025.
