Following the success of "Primitive War," Sparke once again demonstrates his ability to craft high-concept stories through intense narratives and confined spaces. Known for films like "Occupation" and "Occupation: Rainfall," Sparke now challenges himself with a new approach: a single shot in real time.

The film debuted at the 2024 Sydney Film Festival, where it received rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. Its unique technical format and tense atmosphere are key highlights, setting "Scurry" apart from the typical sci-fi horror film. Here's the synopsis!

‘Scurry’ Film Synopsis

‘Scurry’ follows two strangers trapped underground after a sudden attack devastates their town. Injured, disoriented, and directionless, they must fight their way out of the narrow, crumbling passageways—but a more sinister threat awaits in the darkness: a predatory, bloodthirsty creature that hunts them mercilessly.

With its continuous, one-shot shooting style, the film creates a claustrophobic and thrilling atmosphere, making the audience feel trapped alongside the main characters.

When their town is destroyed by a mysterious attack, the two strangers find themselves trapped in a dark, constricting underground tunnel. Injured and disoriented, they must find their way out while facing a deadly creature lurking in the shadows. Shot in one continuous take, Scurry delivers a brutal, tense, and unnerving cinematic horror experience.

Starring Jamie Costa and Emalia, the film also features Peter O'Hanlon in a supporting role. The film will be available in Digital HD on October 3, 2025, on platforms like Apple TV, Prime Video, and Fandango at Home, as well as a limited release in select theaters.
