Synopsis for "Can This Love Be Translated?...
Spring Fever is a romantic Korean drama set to premiere in January 2026. This latest Korean drama tells the story of Yun Bom, who moves to the small town of Shinsu to start a new life as an exchange teacher. After going through difficult times in Seoul, the initially withdrawn Yun Bom slowly opens her heart when she meets Seon Jae Gyu.
Set in a small village, Spring Fever tells the story of the meeting of two people who both harbor wounds, but gradually heal each other.
Spring Fever Synopsis
Spring Fever focuses on the love story between Yoon Bom (Lee Joo Bin), a high school teacher known for her cold and mysterious nature, and Seon Jae Gyu (Ahn Bo Hyun), a large man with a blunt attitude who often causes a stir in the village.
Yoon Bom was once a popular figure in Seoul thanks to her talent and personality. However, a shocking incident in the past led her to withdraw into herself and move to the village to teach at Shinsu High School. She lives her days as an "outsider," living by the principle of not wanting to smile and experience joy.
On the other hand, Seon Jae Gyu is a figure that's hard to ignore. With his fierce appearance, tattoos on his arms, and reputation as a troublemaker, Jae Gyu often makes the locals wary. However, beneath his intimidating exterior, he is a warm-hearted man who deeply cares for his nephew, Seon Han Gyeol, whom he has raised with all his heart. Yoon Bom and Jae Gyu meet seemingly by chance, and from that moment on, Yoon Bom's tranquil life is shaken. This is especially true when she realizes that Jae Gyu is the uncle of her own student.
Jae Gyu doesn't hesitate to approach her openly, even boldly asking, "Why? Are you afraid of falling in love with me?"
Jae Gyu's persistence slowly breaks down Yoon Bom's walls. Day by day, the principles she's held dear begin to waver. Unbeknownst to her, smiles and warm feelings return to Yoon Bom's life, like spring after a long winter.
