Kurou Kumogakure, the main character in the story, is a 17-year-old boy known as a loser and loner at his school. One day, when he is bored with nothing to do, he is given an important mission. The mission is to investigate the movements of an organization that has been hiding underground for over 70 years after the war.

The organization's name is Under Ninja. Meanwhile, Ayaka Noguchi, a high school student, is caught up in their fight. Her ordinary life changes drastically when she is given a part-time job as a modern-day ninja. Her task?
