The first trailer for Superman 2025 has been released, giving a new look at the superhero's adventures with a fresh storyline. Directed by James Gunn, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025, which makes DC fans even more excited to see Superman in action.

In the trailer uploaded on DC Studios' official YouTube channel on Thursday (19/12/25), Superman is seen battling various threats, including stronger villains. In addition, emotional scenes also show the human side of the superhero, including moments of interaction with his favorite dog.

For information, the Superman movie is played by a new figure who is different from the previous films. Through this film, the character of Superman is played by actor David Corenswet, previously known through the films Twisters (2024) to Pearl (2022).

The trailer features David who looks vulnerable and lying weak in the snow. His body looks injured until finally rescued by his super dog, Krypto.

Then in the movie, the character Lois Lane is played by famous artist Rachel Brosnahan. The character is described as a tough journalist and highlights how her relationship with Clark Kent.
