Unmasked Synopsis 


UNMASKED tells the journey of the Trigger investigation team, a journalism show that focuses on uncovering unsolved cases. Led by Oh So-ryong, a persistent and courageous host, the team faces various obstacles to uncover the truth behind major cases that are often ignored by law enforcement.

Oh So-ryong is known for not only reading out the results of investigations, but also going into the field with Han Do, a junior producer, and Kang Ki-ho, an assistant producer. They try to gather valid evidence that can strengthen their reports.

In the process, their actions often resemble a police investigation, making each episode full of suspense and surprises. 

Han Do's addition to the Trigger team adds a refreshing comedic element. His independent and often spontaneous personality creates a new dynamic within the team. Even so, their goal remains the same: to save their program, which is threatened with termination due to pressure from various parties. 

The climax of the conflict occurs when the Trigger team is given a big task to solve a cold case that has been unsolved for 20 years. The case involves a famous actor who disappeared without a trace. With time running out, the Trigger team must fight hard to save their jobs and uncover the truth behind the mystery.

However, the journey is not easy. While their investigations have solved some major cases, it has also caused them to lose the support of a major advertiser. This situation puts them on the edge, but the passion and hard work of the Trigger team is the key to overcoming all obstacles.
